✅ Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation Degree in any stream from any recognized university in India
- Candidates must have completed their graduation before the application date
- Fresh graduates with no prior work experience are also eligible to apply
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred
Age Limit (as on 31 May 2026):
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 28 Years
- Age relaxation applicable as per Central Bank of India Apprentice 2026 Recruitment Rules for SC / ST / OBC / PH and other reserved category candidates
Other Requirements:
- Candidate must be an Indian National
- Should preferably be a local resident of the state / district they are applying for

📝 Selection Process for CBI Apprentice 2026
Stage 1 – Online Written Examination (First Week of July 2026)
- Objective type multiple choice questions
- Sections: General Awareness / Current Affairs, English Language, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability / Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Knowledge
- Qualifying marks as per CBI Apprentice 2026 norms
- Exam likely in the first week of July 2026
Stage 2 – Local Language Test
- Candidates must demonstrate basic proficiency in the local language of the state / district they applied for
- Qualifying in nature
Stage 3 – Document Verification
- Verification of original educational certificates, age proof, category certificate, ID proof, and photographs
- Graduation degree, marksheets, and other documents required
Stage 4 – Apprenticeship Joining
- Selected candidates undergo a 1-year apprenticeship at Central Bank of India branches in their respective states
- Monthly stipend paid throughout the apprenticeship period
- Certificate of Apprenticeship issued upon successful completion

🎯 How to Apply Online for CBI Apprentice 2026
Step 1 – NATS Portal Registration
- Visit the NATS portal nats.education.gov.in
- Click on “Student / Apprentice Registration”
- Register on the NATS portal with your personal and educational details
- Create your NATS account and verify your email ID and mobile number
- If already registered on NATS, skip to Step 2
Step 2 – Apply Online
- Visit the official Central Bank of India website centralbank.bank.in or the NATS portal
- Find the CBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 application link
- Login to the NATS portal with your registered credentials
- Fill in the application form with personal details, educational qualification, and state preference
- Upload required documents — Passport-size Photograph, Signature, Graduation Certificate, Category Certificate (in prescribed format)
- Pay the application fee as applicable through the online / offline mode
- Review all details carefully before final submission
- Submit the application before 22 June 2026
- Take a printout of the final submitted form for your records
